Manufacturing, Inc. of the United States built its name in rifles beginning in the 1990s, combining a purpose-built single-shot .50 BMG platform with proprietary AR-15–pattern builds on OPS-4 and OPS-22 receivers, a focus that continued into the 2000s until operations ceased in 2013.
