Aktiengesellschaft Lignose (Lignose AG) was a German firearms manufacturer founded in 1922. Its Suhl firearms works were sold to Suhler Waffenfabrik Gebrüder Merkel in 1927, and in 1937 AG Lignose acquired August Menz and marketed some small pistols under the "Theodor Bergmann Erben" name. The brand is known for its "Einhand" one-hand-operated pocket pistols that use a sliding trigger guard to cock and chamber a round.
