Munitions International Laboratories, Inc. of the United States entered the revolver market in 1991 with a 5-shot double-action platform and kept revolvers central to its handgun lineup through the 1990s. Its revolvers are distinguished by early .410 shotshell/.45 Colt capability years ahead of mainstream entries, an investment-cast frame and barrel with rifling formed during casting, and an unusual manual safety that together positioned them as heavy-duty multi-caliber utility revolvers.
