The New England Westinghouse Company was a United States manufacturer founded in 1915. It was dissolved on October 8, 1926; its firearms production assets (the J. Stevens Arms Company) were sold in 1920, and the Stevens brand later continued under Savage Arms. The company’s enduring legacy is its U.S.-made Mosin–Nagant Model 1891 rifles produced under contract for Imperial Russia during World War I.
