Sterlingworth Shotguns for Sale
Founded: 1910
HQ: United States
Built by the A.H. Fox Gun Company in the United States, Sterlingworth shotguns debuted in 1910 as the company’s lower-priced, field-grade side-by-side, became Fox’s volume mainstay through the late 1920s, and continued in production under Savage into the early 1940s. Within shotguns, they are known as Fox’s workhorse field-grade side-by-side: a plain, durable, well-handling design that uses a simplified through-lump barrel joint instead of Fox’s barrel-extension/rotary-bolt lockup to provide reliable performance at a more accessible price.
