The original maker ceased operations in 1996; licensed production resumed under Stinger Manufacturing Corp. in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan from 2002 to 2004 before ceasing, and as of 2026 R. J. Braverman LLC indicates plans for a reintroduction. Its defining legacy is a non-NFA, folding, pen-style single-shot handgun disguised as a writing instrument.
