Founded: 1850

HQ: Germany

Nimrod-Gewehr-Fabrik Thieme & Schlegelmilch was founded in Germany in 1850 by Carl Adolph Thieme and Heinrich Nicolaus Schlegelmilch. In the mid-1930s it was acquired by Christoph Funk (for his son Alfred) and continued as "Nimrod-Gewehrfabrik Thieme & Schlegelmilch" until being absorbed into Christoph Funk in 1937; the brand did not resume after World War II. Its legacy centers on patented barrel-lock and side/boxlock mechanisms applied to high-quality drillings.
