HM Defense & Technology, based in the United States and founded in 2013, built its name in rifles with early-2010s AR-pattern introductions and later expansions from 5.56 NATO to 7.62 NATO and .50 BMG, keeping rifles at the core of its lineup. Its rifles center on the patented Monobloc barrel with an integral gas block (and in some versions an integral muzzle device) to improve alignment and minimize gas leakage, matched to the HMB bolt that removes the cam-pin through-hole for added strength, all executed with extensive in-house machining and billet receiver construction.
