    What’s Included

    • Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk I rifle

Manufactured in 1944 and marked M47C, this rifle is a correct BSA-Shirley No.4 Mk I with a P-prefix serial on the butt-socket, tying it to British wartime production. The Mk I bolt-head catch is present, distinguishing it from the later Mk I* pattern.

It uses the .303 British cartridge and the classic Enfield cock-on-closing, rear-locking bolt action with a turned-down bolt handle. An integral charger bridge supports stripper-clip loading into the detachable 10-round magazine system.

Sighting equipment is the desirable milled, micrometer-style ladder rear sight with a screw-adjustable slide, paired with a protected front post set within square ears. This iron-sight setup is consistent with No.4 service configuration.

The two-piece hardwood stock includes upper handguards and a metal buttplate with a trap door leading to the butt-trap for an oiler/pull-through. Additional service features include sling swivels, a front stacking swivel, and the No.4 spike-bayonet lug/boss. The barrel measures 25.2 inches, and the length of pull is 13.0 inches.
