Made in Japan by New SKB Arms Company, this Model 300 carries clear factory markings including "SKB SINCE 1855 / MADE IN JAPAN" and "20GA - 3" CHAMBER / MADE BY NEW SKB ARMS COMPANY JAPAN." It uses a long-recoil action with right-side ejection and a traditional charging handle.
The 22 inch barrel is topped with a ventilated rib and a serrated top plane that continues across the receiver to reduce glare. A single orange front bead provides a crisp reference on target. The barrel is configured with a fixed full choke, and the chamber is cut for 3 inch 20-gauge shells.
Controls and configuration include a tubular magazine with a 2+1 capacity and a magazine cut-off lever on the receiver. This lever allows the user to interrupt feeding from the magazine when desired.
The stock set is walnut with cut checkering for grip, paired with an SKB-branded hard buttplate. The pistol-grip buttstock provides a measured 14.0 inch length of pull for a classic fit and feel.
