- SKB Model 3000 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun
Built in Japan and imported circa 1988–1990, this SKB Arms Co. Model 3000 carries clear markings: "SKB ARMS CO., MADE IN JAPAN, 12GA – 2 3/4" CHAMBER." It is a full-size gas-operated semi-automatic with right-side ejection and a cross-bolt safety, configured for a 2+1 capacity.
The 26-inch steel barrel wears a vent rib and a single front bead for fast alignment. It is threaded for choke tubes and presently configured CYL. The barrel is explicitly marked for 2 3/4-inch chambering.
The alloy receiver presents factory game-scene engraving with upland motifs, including pheasant and pointing dogs on the receiver sides. Its finish pairs bright engraved sides with a matte black top, complemented by a gold-tone trigger.
Walnut furniture includes a checkered pistol-grip stock and a matching walnut fore-end. A ventilated rubber recoil pad and a 14.5-inch length of pull provide a comfortable fit and straightforward handling.
As a Japanese SKB gas auto, ongoing U.S. parts and support are available, adding practical value to its engraved receiver variant and classic configuration.
