Made in Russia in 1942 by Izhevsk Arsenal, this Model 91/30 is a wartime-production Mosin-Nagant with a round receiver and classic blued finish paired with an in-the-white bolt. It retains matching serial numbers on the bolt and floorplate and bears the Soviet state crest and Izhevsk arsenal markings, along with a PW ARMS Redmond WA import mark. The rifle comes with a cruciform socket bayonet (non-matching), leather ammunition pouches, and the standard cleaning rod installed.

    Condition

Bore Overall Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.

Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.

Specific Condition Notes: Exhibits age-appropriate wear on the barrel, receiver, and hardwood stock consistent with a military surplus rifle. The blued finish shows scattered scratches and minor blemishes from handling and storage. The bolt action cycles smoothly. The receiver displays the Soviet state crest with Izhevsk arrow-in-triangle arsenal marks, and a PW ARMS REDMOND WA import mark is present. Matching serial numbers are found on the bolt and floorplate; the included bayonet is non-matching.

    What’s Included

    • Mosin–Nagant cruciform socket bayonet (non-matching serial)
    • Leather twin-compartment ammunition pouches
    • Standard Mosin–Nagant cleaning rod (installed under barrel)

This WWII-era 91/30 was manufactured by Izhevsk Arsenal in 1942 and features the round receiver pattern typical of mid-war production. Chambered in 7.62x54R with a 29-inch barrel, it offers the classic long-line profile and ballistic performance associated with the standard Soviet service rifle of the period. Made in Russia, it carries period-correct arsenal markings and an importer-applied serial number on the receiver.

The action is a two-lug, cock-on-open design, feeding from a fixed internal magazine. It is set up for efficient loading via 5-round stripper clips, with a total capacity of 5+1. The bolt is left in-the-white, contrasting the blued receiver and metalwork.

Sighting equipment includes a hooded post front sight and a tangent rear sight. The full-length hardwood stock features finger-groove lightening cuts, inletted sling slots with metal escutcheons, and an upper handguard. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, providing a familiar fit for the platform.

Markings include the Soviet state crest on the receiver and Izhevsk arrow-in-triangle arsenal stamps. An import mark from PW ARMS REDMOND WA is present. Matching serial numbers on the bolt and floorplate add cohesion to this example, while a non-matching cruciform socket bayonet, leather ammunition pouches, and the standard cleaning rod round out the set.
