This SKB Model 85TSS is a purpose-built 12-gauge unsingle trap shotgun from the 2000s, made in Japan by New SKB Arms Company. It features an adjustable, ventilated high rib, a 3 inch chamber, and a screw-in choke system with a Modified choke installed. The silver-finished receiver carries factory scroll engraving with the SKB logo and "TARGET" on the trigger-guard bow. Its walnut target stock includes an adjustable comb, neutral palm swell, and an adjustable butt pad with a KICK-EEZ pad to tailor fit for the trap field.
Condition

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: The top lever rests at approximately the 6 o'clock position, and the locking lug may need to be tightened soon. The barrel fit is slightly loose. The ejector functions correctly and is properly timed. The firing pin is in good condition.

The 85TSS is configured as a break-action, single-barrel "unsingle" trap gun with an adjustable, ventilated high rib for precise point-of-impact tuning. Sight alignment is fast and clear with a red fiber-optic front bead paired with a mid-bead.
It accepts SKB 12-gauge bottom-thread Competition Series choke tubes, and this example includes a Mod choke. The 3 inch chamber adds versatility for target loads, while the timed ejector speeds reloads on the line.
The silver receiver is factory scroll-engraved, highlighted by the SKB logo on the bottom metal and "TARGET" on the trigger-guard bow. Receiver markings include "PROOF TESTED, MADE BY NEW SKB ARMS COMPANY JAPAN."
The walnut target Monte Carlo stock is set up for adjustability and control with an adjustable comb, neutral palm swell, and an adjustable butt pad fitted with a KICK-EEZ pad. Up front, a beavertail forend with a Deeley-style latch offers a secure, consistent grip.
