Made in Brazil and imported by Pacific Armament Corporation, this rifle is built on an IMBEL gear-logo receiver with correct factory rollmarks. The receiver is marked IMBEL – Fábrica de Itajubá – Brasil, and the left side carries the Pacific Armament Corporation, Modesto, CA import mark. Assembly by Israel Arms International (IAI) ties together a desirable mix of authentic components and clean import pedigree.
The rifle uses the Metric Type III receiver pattern with a smooth sheet-steel top cover and model/caliber marking "Fz SA 7,62." Its operating system is the FAL’s proven semi-automatic, gas-operated, short-stroke piston design. An adjustable gas system with a serrated regulator ring and standard FAL gas plug provides user-tunable cycling. Selector markings are "S" and "E," with a selector safety.
The 21 inch steel barrel is configured with a plain muzzle. Sighting is via iron sights: a front post on the gas block and an adjustable rear aperture. A carry handle is present for convenience. Sling swivels are correctly positioned under the gas block up front and at the toe of the butt in the rear.
Furniture includes ribbed, ventilated stamped-steel handguards, a fixed black polymer stock, and a black pebble-textured pistol grip. The receiver is steel with a matte gray phosphate finish, and the length of pull measures 14.5 inches. Capacity is 20+1 and this rifle includes one 20-round FAL-pattern steel magazine.
