Built on the FN FAL platform and marked 'F.S.L.', this FMAP rifle follows the metric pattern with a steel receiver and the standard 50.00 fixed-stock, 21-inch configuration. The receiver is dual-marked 'F.S.L. cal. 7,62 x 51 mm (L.S.R. 308 WIN)' and carries the factory legend 'F.M.A.P.
'DM' – ROSARIO / INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA.' Selector markings are 'S' and 'R' on the lower.
The gas system is the short-stroke piston type with a tilting bolt. A knurled gas regulator ring is fitted at the gas block to fine-tune operation. The charging handle is of the folding type, and a carry handle is present.
The rifle retains its classic 21-inch barrel with a threaded muzzle and an installed cylindrical multi-port muzzle brake. Polymer furniture includes a fixed synthetic stock, a synthetic pistol grip, and a two-piece gray polymer handguard with mixed venting: one half with elongated oval slots and the opposite half with three round holes.
Sighting is via iron sights: a protected front post on the gas block and a ramp-type adjustable aperture rear sight. Capacity is 20+1 with the included steel FAL-pattern magazine. The bore is clean and shiny, supporting the rifle’s ready-to-run configuration.
