Built on a hammerless boxlock action with double triggers and a tang safety, this Hubertus is configured for reliable, straightforward operation. It uses extractor-only (non-ejector) hardware and locks up with a doll's-head rib extension.
The 28 in steel barrels feature a solid, matted rib for glare reduction. Sight alignment is aided by bead sights with a red front bead and a small white mid-bead.
The walnut stock includes a Bavarian cheekpiece, a half-pistol grip, and a checkered grip and forend for positive purchase. The splinter forend maintains a sleek profile. Length of pull measures 14.0 in, and integral sling-swivel studs are fitted.
Finish is blued. A ventilated red rubber recoil pad has been installed, complementing the stock's configuration.
