The 32-inch over/under barrel set features a ventilated matted top rib and ventilated side ribs for a consistent sighting plane, with a fiber-optic front bead. Ported muzzles help manage muzzle rise, and the barrels are set up with flush screw-in chokes — Full on the top tube and Improved Modified on the bottom — well-suited to clay target disciplines.
Chambered 12/70 (2 3/4 in), the 412 ST uses a break-action layout with a two-round capacity. The ejectors are timed, and the top lever sits slightly right of center, indicating solid lockup. Bore quality is excellent, with clean, mirror interiors.
The single gold-tone trigger and stock configuration support target shooting. The checkered walnut stock has a glossy finish, a pistol grip with a right-hand palm swell, neutral cast, and a beavertail forend. A ventilated recoil pad and a 14-inch length of pull round out the fit and feel.
The barrels wear a blued finish, while the alloy/steel receiver carries a coin-finish. Markings include a 12/70 chamber stamp along with a small "d" stamp and an inspector’s mark adjacent to the serial area.
