The rifle has been thoughtfully sporterized. The original military top handguard, barrel bands, and bayonet lug assembly have been removed. It is fitted with an aftermarket walnut stock featuring a left-side Monte Carlo cheekpiece, no checkering, a contrasting dark forend tip, and a steel grooved buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
Sighting and mounting provisions include a ramped front sight with a dovetailed blade and serrated ramp top. The rear sight has been removed and none is installed. For optics or target equipment, the receiver ring is drilled and tapped with two holes, and a barrel-top scope/target block is installed just ahead of the receiver.
