Built on an IMBEL Type III metric-pattern FAL receiver, this rifle carries the IMBEL gear logo and factory markings and bears the Pacific Armament Corporation (Modesto, CA) import mark. The configuration follows the Israeli FALO (Makleon) heavy-barrel pattern, combining durability with the distinctive heavy front end and support features associated with that variant.
The 21-inch heavy-profile barrel is paired with a long open 3-slot flash hider and the Israeli heavy-pattern folding bipod with spade feet. The front end includes the two-piece Israeli heavy-barrel handguard set, using a ventilated sheet-metal fore shroud over a grooved wood handguard for heat management and control. A standard FAL front sight and an adjustable gas regulator round out the classic FAL operating setup.
An aftermarket railed top cover spans the receiver to provide a Picatinny mounting surface. The rifle retains the forward-swept ribbed carry handle for transport and sling swivels for carry options.
Furniture consists of a fixed hardwood buttstock with a steel buttplate and hinged trap door, plus a black polymer pistol grip. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. The action is semi-automatic, using a gas-operated short-stroke piston with a tilting bolt, chambered in 7.62x51 NATO and fed from 20-round metric-pattern magazines. Non-matching numbers are noted on the lower and bolt carrier.
