This limited Ducks Unlimited commemorative features factory engraving with waterfowl scenes and the "DUCKS UNLIMITED" legend, marking it as a purpose-built edition for DU supporters. The year-prefix serial format (year code preceding 'DU' and a numeric sequence) aligns with the commemorative run and adds clear collector context.
It uses a gas-operated semi-automatic action with right-side ejection and a 3+1 capacity. A magazine cut-off lever on the left side of the receiver allows quick control of the feeding system.
The 28-inch barrel has a ventilated rib and a single brass bead front sight for a clean sight picture. It is chambered for both 2 3/4 and 3 inch 12-gauge shells, offering flexibility in load selection.
The stock is gloss-finished walnut with a checkered pistol grip and an SKB-branded recoil pad with black spacer. A knurled magazine cap and a gold-colored trigger provide distinctive visual and functional touches.
Made in Japan in the late 1980s, this Model 3000 has a 14.0-inch length of pull and combines SKB’s period build features with Ducks Unlimited commemorative details.
