It ceased operations around 1974 following the death of owner John Arnold and did not continue under another marque; later activity by Federal Ordnance was a separate enterprise. The brand is best remembered for postwar commercial builds of U.S. service‑rifle patterns using investment‑cast receivers and surplus GI parts.
