It merged with Warner Arms in 1917 to form Davis-Warner Arms Corporation, then with Crescent Arms in 1930 to become Crescent-Davis Arms Corporation, which Savage/Stevens acquired in 1931; production continued under the Crescent name and the Davis brand was discontinued.
