Underwood Elliott-Fisher Company was a United States manufacturer founded in 1927 by John T. Underwood. Its corporate successor was later absorbed into Olivetti, and the brand no longer operates as a firearms maker. Underwood is best known for its World War II production of the U.S. military carbine under government contract, with receivers marked "UNDERWOOD," and for supplying carbine parts and barrels to other contractors.
