Arisaka Rifles for Sale

Founded: 1899

HQ: Japan

Arisaka, from Japan, represents the Imperial Japanese bolt-action service rifle lineage, arming the nation’s infantry from 1897 through World War II and defining its standard-issue rifles until production ended in 1945. These rifles are distinguished by very strong Mauser-influenced actions; chamberings that evolved from 6.5×50mmSR to 7.7×58mm; and service-driven features like the large rear safety knob, sliding dust cover, monopod, folding anti-aircraft sights, and often chrome-lined bores, with late-war examples showing stark simplification and many bearing the Imperial chrysanthemum crest.
