Eddystone Rifles for Sale

Founded: 1915

HQ: United States

Eddystone Rifle Works of the United States was established in 1915 at Eddystone, Pennsylvania to mass-produce military rifles, beginning large-scale output in 1916 for British contracts and retooling in 1917 to build U.S. service bolt actions through early 1919. Its rifles are defined by high-volume military-contract manufacture on a robust, Enfield-derived cock-on-closing action, clear “E,” “ERA,” or “Eddystone” receiver markings, and the distinction of being the largest producer of the U.S. World War I service rifle that equipped much of the American Expeditionary Force. Over 27 Eddystone rifle auctions have run on FirearmLand.
