L.C. Smith Shotguns for Sale
Founded: 1884
HQ: United States
The L.C. Smith Shotgun Company of the United States is a storied name in shotguns, beginning side-by-side production in 1880, introducing its hammerless design in 1886, and carrying on under Hunter Arms in Fulton through 1945 with later Marlin-era revivals. Its shotguns are defined by American-made sidelock construction with a rotary-bolt locking system, a wide spectrum of hand-fitted grades, and options like automatic ejectors and the single-selective Hunter One-Trigger, with the L.C. Smith name reserved for sidelock doubles while economy boxlocks appeared under other labels. Over 29 L.C. Smith shotgun auctions have run on FirearmLand.
